CARE:

• No dishwashers: High heat and heavy water pressure will warp, swell, and crack the wood

• No soaking: Never leave the bowl sitting in standing water or put it in the microwave or oven

• No cooking oils: Avoid using regular vegetable oils, olive oil, mineral oil, or wax, as they can go rancid or invite bacteria growth

• Condition often: Apply Andrew Pearce Refined Walnut Wood Oil every 6 months, or whenever the wood feels rough or looks dull.

• Oil it more frequently in dry winter climates

• Rub 1 to 2 tablespoons of walnut oil onto all surfaces using a soft cloth

• Let the bowl absorb the oil for at least 6 hours (or cure for 24 hours) before using or letting it touch fabric
