Oriente Italiano Albus - Dessert Plate

Set of two Albus-colored dessert plates in Ginori 1735 porcelain from the Oriente Italiano collection. A complete table setting includes plates for each course, from appetizers to fruit. Dessert plates come into their own at the end of a luncheon or dinner during the presentation of desserts or fruit once the main courses and side dishes have been cleared away. But beyond the major occasions, these plates are also perfect at breakfast or (why not?) during snack time any day of the week. The Oriente Italiano collection includes a vast assortment of tableware, tea and coffee sets and home décor items. It is the culmination of our boundless passion for creative research, through which we continuously reshape our historic knowledge of craftsmanship in order to establish new styles to suit contemporary tastes. We thrive on experimentation. An approach that has led us to study the use of the perfect color tones with which to enhance the shapes of our iconic Antico Doccia line, renewing without severing its ties to Italian tradition. To this end, we have embellished each piece of porcelain in the collection with the historic "carnation" motif of Faenza ceramics, reinterpreting it in our own language. All of the items in the collection are available in ten bright and gleaming colors, which lend themselves well to mixing and matching: Malachite, Barium, Iris, Periwinkle, Citrine, Powder, Mauve, Azalea, Albus and Vermilion.
